Dr. Bill Loyens

Most of our patients are very familiar with Dr. Bill Loyens, who has been taking care of the smiles in the Glencoe area since 1976! Always friendly and personable, Dr. Loyens has a passion for patient care and always keeps patients as his primary focus in all that he does.

Dr. Loyens grew up in Mount Brydges and completed his dental studies at the University of Toronto. He started his career at a sedation practice near Ottawa, but didn't take him long to return to the community he loves when an opportunity for practice ownership became available! Dr. Loyens is a familiar face to many, being very active in the community and by taking care of patients. His calm demeanour and years of experience in dentistry puts patients at ease and helps them to feel confident in the care they recieve.

Outside of the office Dr. Loyens loves fishing, hanging out with his dog Wiley, and spending as much time as possible at his cottage in Temagami. He has been very active in the agricultural community as well, raising emus and showing Arabian horses. Dr. Loyens looks forward to spending the remainder of his career working part-time here at Glencoe Dental Care, continuing to care for his patients and community for years to come!
