Dental Assistant

Karen is a very experienced Level 2 Dental Assistant with over 30 years spent here at Glencoe Dental Care. She is Dr. Loyens’ left-hand lady, loyally assisting him in patient care and keeping him in line out of the operatory! She studied at both Fanshawe College and Western University to achieve her Level 2 assisting certificate as well as the completion of the PDA course.

Karen strives to deliver quality care to each patient and believes that in the process they will trust you and become lifelong patients. She enjoys seeing and getting to know each patient and loves to work with her team.

Karen and her husband John share 2 children Alexandra and Malia. They also have a rabbit named Mochi and a golden retriever named Beans. She spends her time away from work with her family, often at the arena. She also loves to travel and will happily chat with you about her adventures.
